Beatsdiy.com presents itself as a legit store for Beats DIY Dr. Dre products, but the true story is quite the opposite. Read this review to know why you should avoid this store.

About Beatsdiy.com

Beatsdiy is an online store that supposedly sells Beats headphones earphones, etc. at low cost. They provide a whole variety of Beats’ products to meet customers’ needs without causing the customers to “break the bank”.

On a different day, this could’ve been the perfect site to get headphones as gifts for anyone who might need the. However, our suspicion requires us to advise caution. The online store in question can be accessed via the link; https://www.beatsdiy.com

How Does Beatsdiy.com Work?

It is a common thing among illegitimate shopping sites to flaunt cheap prices for their products; prices that are too good to be true. They are also known to give unbelievable discounts.

In the case of beatsdiy, these products are reduced to about half of their original prices. A few products may have been counted as promos for a while; however, slashing all product prices like that indefinitely is something to be worried about.

Some of the payment methods available include; Stripe, VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.

Beatsdiy.com: Possible Red Flags?

Here are some things we found (or didn’t find) on beatsdiy.com

Reviews:

One of the most important things to look out for when you would shop with any online store is the customer reviews section. Any online store, no matter how big, established or reliable, usually has good and bad reviews. This is for the sole reason that no service is perfect. Therefore it is usually suspicious when a store has only good or only bad reviews.

Beatsdiy.com seems to only posses the former. During our investigation, we only found positive product ratings and reviews. As a matter of fact, all products had perfect 5-star ratings. This red flag made us even more suspicious and had us digging further.

Refund Policy:

Beatsdiy.com has a 30-day return policy. This means that you have 30 days after you receive your item, to determine whether or not you’re satisfied and return it. It is important to note that a condition for returning is that the item must be in the same condition it was when you got it, with its tags and original packaging. This is good.

What is not good is that there is no specific address to return the items to. The original company address provided by the store however, turns out to be a residential building in Texas. The fact that their customer support email uses a free emailing service also doesn’t speak well of them.

Finally, there’s a section in their returns policy that does not guarantee they’ll receive your package. It would seem they really are trying hard to not receive the package. RED FLAG!

Content:

While reading through this website, a lot of what they had there was all too familiar; from images to terms and conditions and even product descriptions, we had previously seen on other sites.

One close look, and we also discovered that the User interface itself is a mere copy of a bunch of other scam websites. This lack of originality is a huge red flag on it’s own.

Verdict:

Beatsdiy.com consists of fake product reviews, copied content, zero social media presence, and fake contact information. All these are basic requirements for any e-commerce establishment. In their absence therefore, we cannot endorse this store.

This store has all the makings of a scam and you would be safer staying away from them.
