Power Rangers star actor, Jason David Frank commits suicide at 49

Tributes continues to roll in at the announcement of the death of the popular actor, Jason David Frank. He was known for his major role in the well known television series Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. According to the reports, Jason committed suicide at Texas. He passed on at the age of 49. Nobody knows what he was passing through that could make him take his life.

Jason became famous in 1993 following his role as Tommy Oliver, the Green Power Ranger in the kid series. He was a great actor as well as a mixed martial artist.

He was so passionate about his acting and was loved by many. As a result, he was brought back as the White Power Ranger. In subsequent series, he played different characters. He was the Red Zeo in the Super Sentai Series. In the Power Rangers Turbo, he acted as the Red Turbo Ranger. Jason reprised his role in Power Ranger Dino Thunder in 2004 after his return to the Power Rangers. He played the role of the Black Dino Ranger.

Not only in acting, Jason also excelled in his career as a martial artist. He was well grounded in Taekwondo, Judo, Muay Thai, Brazillian Jui- Jitsu and many others.

Reacting to the news of his death, Walter Emanuel Jones, the initial black Power Ranger actor stated that it is so sad to have lost a member of the Ranger family. Walter went further to describe his wild sense of humor,. According to him, Jason was one of the biggest prankster on the show. He was an inspiration to others and will be greatly missed.
