The Vtech Solutions Scam is the latest phishing scam to rock the internet. Unfortunately, a handful of people are falling for this scam by sending the information on their credit card to these bunch of scammers.
Though these calls might seem legit, they are just well scripted lies, and if you fall for it the money on your bank would be completely wiped out by these scammers. So what should you do when you receive a message or phone call like that of Vtech Solutions?

First, don’t panic. You’re totally in control. The next thing you should do is ignore the call, and quickly come online to make further investigations or share your experience with others.
Never give out your personal and financial information over the phone, and do not rush to make payment for something you do not know about.
Just received an automated call Vtech Solution with the same we’re going to charge you $399 for renewal for a program I never had.. etc. Came from Cedar Lake Indiana. 219-374-4296.

Got a robo call this morning “Viatech will charge $249.99 and you have 48 hrs to cancel – call 213 766 5733. Sam L (Customer Relationship Mgr)
Wed, 8/19/2020, 8:35 am. Just received a recorded message call from Account Manager, Michael Jordan, V-Tech Solutions, said that there would be $399 charge added to my charge card if I didn’t not call 208-314-5144 within 48 hours. The number he called from was 498-3126.
Just received an automated call from 1-254-798-1183 stating that the company has renewed a one year antivirus security and have charged “you” $399.00 and “you” have 48 hours to cancel. Caller is V Tech Solution and “This is Daniel Weber, Customer Relationship Manager.” The call back number was another one: 1-415-300-4733. Did not answer the call or call back the second number.
I had the exact same experience on Sep 14, 2020. The caller was the same — Michael Jordan — and the number was the same — 202-314-5144. I screen all my calls through my answering machine and did not pick up. This is the second call in a month from the same caller. The first time, I didn’t pick up either and did not return the call, yet my credit card was charged for $49.95. I just go this call from a Jeffrey saying I would be charged249.99 for viral security system on my computer. I called the number 213-686-1590 and told them I didn’t have this product and if they had charged me to cancel and refund. He said he had to show my on my computer how to cancel it out so my bank account would not be charged. I said if they sent the product they could cancel it out from where they were and refund me without any information or me going on my computer with them to cancel it out.… Read more »

Just received an automated call from VTech Solutions and a Mr. David Thompson saying our credit card would be charged $249.99 for an anti-virus software. If we want to cancel we should call 1-307-298-3951. Totally bogus!
Just got this scam on my phone today, from Dennis Wilson, a reference to the Beach Boys I suppose. The voice was computer animated I pretty much know it was a scam and oh well so it is.
I just got an automated call from Vtech saying if I didn’t respond within 48 hours 249.99 would be deducted from my account. I was not home but it was on my answering machine, the number they called from is 213-766-5733. Account manager was a Sam Jorden, I thought it might be a scam as I do not have anti virus with them.
Wabash Moore sent a call for the cancellation of $249.99 VTEchSolution 24 hours will see charge 1-(213)677-0252 H.C. Martin security manager Cancel charge within 48 hours. Ignored call.
Here is another phone number you can add to the list for V-Tech Solutions 408-664-9144. This was for the purchase of a subscription $249.99. Donald Richard, Customer Relationship Manager was giving us 24 hours to cancel the subscription we had not purchased in the first place.
I just received a Vtech call from 220 897 1710 Washington DC. The same phising scam as everyone else is receiving. Garbage people who work for thieves. I blocked the number and immediately received a different call that came up as spam. It was again vtech and the number was 484 2827677 Bath PA. Both of these calls came right after I had Un subscribed to an email. They are probaby all connected
I too just received a robo call message on V-tech solutions stating the same thing. My call was from 844 859-001, the date is 1-25-2021
I just received a call a 1/2 hour ago from V-tech Solutions so they ate still phishing through phone calls as well. hey asked for $149.99 and would “charge my credit card”. I don’t won a credit card or a debit card.
The new Vtech Scam telephone number is 317-343-8648. An Asian male using the name Paul Ryan and a black male with a fake British accent in the background trying to entice someone to turn on their computer and go to their website and use their credit card number to ensure they cancel the charge for the service they didn’t order. Of course this is an attempt to get your credit card number and access to your computer’s IP address, and any other information these foreign scammers can get from you.
